Registration

Online registration/payment is available via the IACR registration form.

Registration fees

The fee covers lunches, coffee breaks, the welcome reception, and the the dinner before the rump session. It does not include hard copy proceedings, however an electronic version of the proceedings will be available to every participant.

Note:
  • IACR dues are US$ 50 for regular attendees and US$ 25 for student attendees. By paying IACR fee at PKC 2019, you become an IACR member for 2020.
  • All attendees who register after March 22nd will incur a US$ 100 late registration surcharge.
  • The fee for an accompanying person will be US$ 120. This allows the guest to attend the social events including the welcome reception and the conference banquet, lunches and coffee breaks are not included.

Student Speakers

Thanks to the IACR Cryptography Research Fund, students who present their accepted paper at PKC 2019 do not have to pay the registration fee. To apply for this fund, send the general chair an email, and when registering, do not pay any amount.

Student Stipends

Stipends are also available to those unable to obtain funding to attend the conference. Since the number of stipends is limited, the preference will be given to students that are unable to obtain funding from other sources. Therefore the applicants are encouraged to provide an explanation why they cannot use their local funding, such as the grants of their supervisors. Further, ask your supervisor to send an email to the general chair confirming that: (1) you are a student engaged in cryptography research and (2) there is not sufficient funding in your home institution to participate in the conference. The value of a stipend will not be more than the lowest available cost of the accommodations in Beijing Friendship Hotel during the conference. In ideal circumstances your home institution will pay some of the cost of your trip and we will attempt to pay the remaining cost. Please contact the General Chair (pkc2019@iacr.org) before March 15, 2019. Decisions will be made soon after that date. The money will be not given to students but pay to the hotel directly.

Participant Stipends

We get some funds which allow us to waive/reduce the registration fee to support some participants who would otherwise be unable to attend the conference. To apply for a stipend please send an email to the general chair (pkc2019@iacr.org) explaining your situation before the registration, and no later than March 15, 2019.

Registration information

On-line registration can be performed by clicking the link above. We prefer that you do online registration, but if necessary it will also be possible to register on-site at the registration desk.
If you have previously attended an IACR conference or workshop then please register with your IACR reference number and password. This information can be retrieved by clicking the appropriate box on the registration page. If you do not have this information (e.g., if this is your first IACR conference/workshop), enter your details and you will receive an IACR reference number after registration and payment. Each IACR reference number should correspond to a unique email address. You can pay on-line with a credit card (you will receive detailed instructions). Receipts are issued by IACR upon registration. Student participants must have their student IDs ready when at the conference registration desk.
The conference registration fee includes participation in the technical program, all social functions as well as an electronic access of the conference proceedings. Accompanying guests can also be registered for participation in the conference social functions.

IACR policy for proceedings

Proceedings will be made available online to attendees. There will not be a USB key with the proceedings. A small number of printed volumes will be available for purchase, while stocks last, at the conference. The cost will be US$ 60 cash only.

Refund policy

Cancellation requests should be made in writing or email to the conference general chair. Those received by March 31, 2019 will receive a full refund less US$ 100 to cover fixed costs for the conference. No refunds will be made for cancellations after this date.

On-site Registration

For on-site registrations during the conference, we will provide an internet access and computer for you to make online registration/payment via the IACR registration form. Please note that you will need to pay the late registration fee if you are paying on site.
